Not all wisdom teeth require removal. Often the jaw is not long enough to allow successful eruption of the wisdom teeth and if that is the case then removal is necessary. Removal can be performed under either local anaesthetic or general anaesthetic.

Good morning,
My dentist sent off a referral on the 14/8. I am suffering quite a constant pain with my wisdom teeth and wondering if there is a bit of a wait time for referrals? I understand completely that it is very busy, but just thought I’d reach out! Thanks so much
